Zortea Town – Prà del Prete

Departure from the Hotel lobby in Trentino at 9.30 am with our guide who will accompany you by bus to Mezzano. On the first cross turn right to Imer towards Passo Gobbera (985m), from here you get directly to the village of Zortea, following the signals to the Lake of Calaita. Start walking from here, follow the indications to Santa Romina which, as a restaurant, offers local meals, and that you can reached through the beautiful landscape offered by the Vanoi Valley. The trail ventures into the forest and leads to a small church called Santa Romina (which gives its name to the locality). This Church has an hexagonal shape and is in the middle of a group of houses and farmsteads and was built in the eighteenth century. Going on the route you reach the Pr del Prete green meadow plateau, dotted with farms.

Nearby is the Lozen Refuge, with kitchen and guest rooms and can be referenced as a stopping point.

For the return you can do the same walk back or you can go down the paved road that leads from Zambo to Lake Calaita. Suitable route for mountain bike riding, too. Once back at the hotel in Trentino, you can go directly from your room to the Wellness area to enjoy our Wellness Center.
