San Martino di Castrozza – Rifugio Colverde

Meeting in the morning at the hotel lobby at about 9.30 am. in order to leave for San Martino di Castrozza, a renowned tourist destination, surrounded by the natural park of Paneveggio and Pale di San Martino (1400 m).

The skiing holiday in San Martino di Castrozza is very popular in winter.

After about 10 minutes by car along an easy road, you will reach the centre of San Martino from which you will continue to Colverde-Rosetta, a few kilometres far from the centre of the village.

Thanks to a modern cable way you will arrive at the Rifugio Colverde (1965m) from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of San Martino, its grassy valley and the surrounding mountains.

There at Rifugio Colverde is possible to taste many traditional dishes: one better than the other! From here there are various paths in different directions and with different difficulties, but certainly the easiest way to get to San Martino is the one along the ski slopes.

Among woods and meadows it is easy to reach the starting point of the cable way and therefore the picturesque San Martino.
