San Martino di Castrozza – Caffè Col – Rifugio Velo

Departure from the hotel lobby at 9.30 am with our guide who will bring you by bus until you reach San Martino di Castrozza in about 20 minutes.

You have to follow the path with signs to Caffè Col but before reaching it, there is trail n. 724 on the left, with Val di Roda fence, which leads to Sora Ronz.

Continuing on this rocky path, there is a forest path which leads to the ruins of Malga Sara Ronz, and following this you will arrive to Rifugio Velo via trail n. 713.

It is necessary to get into the woods to get to Rifugio Velo and then go out through gravel paths and ledges and finally a hollow prior is just before Rifugio Velo at 2358 m. altitude.

When coming down you have easily to retrace the same path

Once back at the hotel an afternoon of relaxation in our Wellness Centre including swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi is waiting for you.
