Passo Rolle – Small lakes of Colbricon
Departure from the hotel lobby at 9.30 am with our guide, who will bring you by bus until you reach Malga Rolle (1900 m) near Passo Rolle (1980 m) in about 30 minutes.
The route starts from an unpaved road which connects to the beaten path. The walk is very relaxing and quiet in a forest which is full of spruce fir and white spruce.
After about 30 minutes of walk, you will start seeing two beautiful lakes of glacial origin, which are named after the mountain above them: "Colbricon Mount" (1927m).
This area is famous for the evidences of the Mesolithic Age where flints and hunting objects (which may be seen in the Historic Museum in Trento) were found.
When coming back you can retrace the same route or follow trail n. 348 which descends to San Martino di Castrozza.
In the afternoon you can relax on our comfortable leather sofas while sipping a cup of hot chocolate and taste a mouth-watering cake and then visit our Wellness Center.
