Caoria Town – Fiamena Hut - Cicona

Departure from the Hotel lobby in Trentino at 9.30 am with our guide who will accompany you by bus to Mezzano, Imer and taking the Totoga tunnel you reach up to Caoria (847m) following the road signposts. From here proceed as per Tour no. 30, arriving at Ponte Stel where you can make a stop at the Bar in Siega.

Cross the bridge at the intersection Valsorda Valzanca, continue until you find a bridge on the right and a board that signals the entrance to the natural park of Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino.

From here you will see a bar that goes up into the woods to get to the Fiamena Hut(1752m). There yu can see the cheese factory in Stelari: it is the stall from which the municipality of Canal San Bovo made a forest retreat.

From the pasture you can enjoy a 360° view from Mount Coppolo to the peaks of Bragaròlo, in Northern Lagorai. The Cima d'Asta stands in the middle.

After having a rest you start the descent into the woods until the until the detour to Malga Boalon taking the path on the left.

Then you go to the forest road that becomes increasingly steep as far as Cicona. The route is suitable for mountain bike riding, too, and snowshoeing in winter. Back at the Hotel, relax with an anti-stress massage to recover all your strength.
