Caoria – Siega de Valzanca
Departure from the Hotel lobby in Trentino at 9.30 am with our guide who will accompany you by bus to Mezzano, Imer and taking the Totoga tunnel you reach up to Caoria (847m) following the road signposts. In the middle of the village there is the Museum of the great war near the new Church, you take a narrow signposted trail no. 352 Valsorda Valzanca.
Rising to a higher altitute you arrive at a seemingly flat ground in the woods that goes into Valsorda until you reach the "Stel Bridge" village (1128m).
After crossing the bridge you find a crossroads from which you continue to the left and leads, in few meters, to Siega de Valzanca, a Venetian water sawmill rebuilt by the Park Paneveggio Pale di San Martino, in perfect working conditions.
There is a place of refreshment near the bar in Siega.
During visiting days you can reach the Siega de Valzanca even by shuttle bus service (to get detailed information about bus schedules call up to the headquarters of the Park Paneveggio Pale di San Martino). Suitable route also for mountain bike riding. After the tiring trip, once back at the Hotel holiday in Trentino, relax in our sauna or pamper in the Wellness Centre with swimming pool.
